Along with our new and improved website, we’re eager to roll out our new Powers Family and Implant Dentistry blog. Our goal is to keep you informed so you can make the best decisions possible about your dental care. If you have any questions or if you need to make an appointment, call us today at 812-645-0620.
In this first installment of our new blog, we want to detail some of the things our patients most enjoy about our office.
We Offer Three Types of Relaxing Sedation
We understand that many people are fearful, and we want your visit with us to go off without a hitch. To make sure you remain comfortable, you can choose from three types of sedation.
Inhaled sedation using laughing gas works great as a mild sedative for both adults and kids. Oral conscious sedation uses a small pill to completely relax you. For our deepest sedation, Dr. Powers will use an IV to put you in a “twilight” state. (He is one of the few Indiana general dentists certified to deliver this type of sedation.)
Advanced Technology Ensures Precision Care
Why settle for average dental care when our leading-edge technology means you’ll receive the best, most efficient, and most comfortable care possible? Our office features patient-friendly technology like electronic cavity detectors, low-radiation digital X-rays, and a 3-D CT scan.
This state-of-the-art technology helps us diagnose problems easier and faster. It also makes your treatment safer and more precise. You and your family deserve only the best.
Dr. Powers Is an Accomplished Dentist
Dr. Scott Powers stands apart from the crowd. He has completed two years of residency and fellowship, which fewer than 1 percent of dentists have done. His experience includes a one-year fellowship in dental implants.
Along with his certification in IV sedation, he has hospital privileges and can treat special needs patients and children in the operating room if necessary. Plus, he has completed thousands of hours of continuing education to stay on top of his game. Your smile will be in skilled hands with him as your dentist.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this post of our Powers Family and Implant Dentistry blog. Give us a call today to schedule your next dental visit.
